Blue/violet/orange flip chameleon.

Note: shifts vary depending on the lighting and angle in which the light hits. Shifts appear more vibrant and visible over deeper bases.

Application:
Apply with a finger or dense packing brush. Our metallics contain a primer for ease of application however, if you notice any unwanted fallout we recommend applying a glitter glue beforehand of your choice.

Ingredients: calcium sodium borosilicate, synthetic fluorphlogopite (77019), mica, boron nitride, lauroyl lysine, calcium carbonate, silica, titanium dioxide (77891), tin oxide (77861), red lake #27, isopropyl myristate, dimethicone, bis-vinyl dimethicone/dimethicone copolymer, phenoxyethanol (preservative), caprylyl glycol, potassium sorbate, hexylene glycol.

*this shade contains small amounts of the vegan, artistry pigment red #27 and is not officially approved by the fda for use around the immediate eye area. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

Due to variations of color settings, lighting and qualities of phone/tablet/computer screens, it is unavoidable that the color you see on our website may appear slightly different in person. So cute!

colorwise: The blue shift shows up better when you pack it on, but when you do, it looks so cute! You can shear it out a little and it looks just like any other sparkly pink. But the blue/orange shift is so stunning & is something that is very special and unique in any pink eyeshadow collection.

formula: I have butterfingers and I immediately dropped it as soon as I took it out of the box & I thought I was going to have to repress it before I even got a chance to try it :( But this is a VERY dimethicone heavy eyeshadow and it didn't shatter! The creamy formula was easy to just squish together with my finger and it's right as rain now :) To get the same vibrant color as the swatches you *must* use your fingers. When you use a brush, it just looks like every other shimmery pink. Still very pretty, but not exciting. There is some fallout, but unlike other cream eyeshadows the fallout doesn't cling to your face. But the eyeshadow itself sticks to your eye. If the other color shift shadows from MC are this stunning and amazing, I might have to get more.

packaging: I've never ordered a pressed single indie shadow before, so I didn't know what to expect as far as packaging wise, but the shadow comes in a sturdy little cardboard package and you could probably get away with never putting it in a magnetic palette.

All in all, if you like pinks and are debating whether or not to pull the gun, I'd say go for it! You probably won't be disappointed!

A happy customer!

It took me many missed restocks to finally have an opportunity to snag this pretty baby! I had been eyeing Menagerie and pining after so many things for what seems like forever! This shade is true to description. It all depends on how you wear it and the lighting. When you swatch it, it looks like a beautiful pink shimmer shadow. Sitting on my bed, with a lamp on and a window with sunlight pouring through, you get the orange and the blue shifts perfectly. I'm definitely impressed and so happy to have this in my collection. I can't wait to also try these over a dark base and see what magic shows up!

Pretty, but not unique...

This eyeshadow comes off more as a duo chrome than a trifoil for me. It’s a very vivid hot pink with a blue-violet shift, which isn’t as unique of a combination. I don’t know if there is a formula difference that makes it more delicate, or if this was a fluke, but mine came shattered into a fine powder even though it was packed in a lot of bubble wrap. This ruined some of the Menagerie formula magic for me because after I pressed it back into the pan, it was pressed a lot harder than Menagerie’s metallics/shimmers are normally pressed. It’s still a very pretty eyeshadow, but I find it doesn’t really look like it is described and isn’t unique to other hot pink/blue eyeshadows I own.

Thank you for your review! If you apply any of the tri-foils over a deeper shade, the shifts are much more apparent. Lighting and the direction of the light play a huge part in how they color shift as well.
I apologize about the shade arriving damaged, we do our best to drop test our batches and pack our eyeshadows well but sadly they can only withstand a certain amount of impact during shipping. If you contact us we’ll happily help you out in getting a replacement or refund. :)
