It took three different types of soap to remove the first time I tried to get it off. The second time I just removed it with canola oil. It holds up real well but I did have to reapply post-ramen.
The color of this is really great and it dies to a nice matte. I do experience some crumbling at times, but it's not too bad. The only downside is that after a few uses, you will have to glue the lid back on as it separates from the plastic applicator pretty quickly. This is an issue I've experienced with all 5 colors I have in this line, two of which are over a year old now. A drop of super glue on the plastic inner part solves the problem, but I would expect this issue to be fixed at some point.
Goes on smoothly and stays on for a long time. Easy to get nice lines with the applicator, too. Will smear if you REALLY try hard, but for the most part, it stays on for food and drink without transfer.
I’ve been using menageries liquid lipsticks since they were known as makeup monsters cosmetics and won’t use any other lipsticks.I have tried many transfer proof lipsticks but non have compared to the thin, pigment high quality of menagerie cosmetics. One layer is more than enough and looks so smooth.I highly recommend you give them a try!! - glamourghoulmakeup 🖤
I approve. This wears light and lasts well for liquid lipstick. I did experience some cracking after maybe 5 hours. I would like to find an oil free lip gloss to layer on top because I think that would help. I am not a lip gloss expert, I confess. I have tried many black lipsticks over the years and they just keep getting better. Keep working on the formula folks! Maybe add more velvet to the velvet finish.
